Artist Statement

My work reflects on real-life experiences and an emotionally threaded connection with nature.  There is an undeniable network of life, death and the natural world around us.  When creating a body of work, I begin an inquiry into what makes a connection visually, emotionally and spiritually.  In my artwork, I illustrate conflicting sides and compose them together in fluid pieces.  Believing that an artist should not limit themselves to one medium, I juxtapose techniques to form artwork that will leave an emotional imprint on the viewer.  My continued inquisition into an emotional connection between art and the human psych is a quest of artistic proportions.
